Dive-site story
Located off the coast of Khor Fakkan in the Gulf of Oman, Martini Wall is a submerged rocky outcrop surrounded by soft corals and sandy seafloor. The formation earned its name from the martini-glass profile visible on bathymetric surveys. Divers descend along rocky ledges layered with whip corals and orange sea fans into deeper water where pelagics and bottom dwellers congregate.
Extensive patches of whip corals and soft gorgonians covering the rocky slopes
Frequent encounters with resident green sea turtles resting along ledge overhangs
Lively crevices sheltering honeycomb morays and scorpionfish
