Dive-site story
The SS Daniel Steinmann is a historical shipwreck resting near Sambro Island. Lost on Mad Rock during dense fog in the late nineteenth century, the broken iron steamer lies scattered across a rocky seabed dominated by kelp forests. Divers can examine structural ribs, boiler components, and scattered cargo debris that now provide artificial habitat for cold-water marine fauna.
