Dive-site story
Gordon Reef sits as the southernmost reef in the Straits of Tiran, marked on the surface by the rusting hull of the cargo ship Loullia perched atop the reef crest. Underwater, divers explore a wide sandy plateau scattered with coral bommies and a shark amphitheater before the seafloor drops away into the blue. The sheltered southern slope allows for relaxed mooring dives, while the eastern and northern walls offer swift drift diving past massive gorgonian fans and soft corals.
