Dive-site story
Located along the southern coast of Ras Mohammed National Park, Jackfish Alley is typically conducted as a drift dive along a dramatic coral wall and sandy plateau. Divers commonly enter near a shallow cave system illuminated by shafts of sunlight filtering from above, where schools of glassfish cluster in the recesses. Moving south, the reef transitions into a wide sandy channel separating the main fringing reef from an outer ridge, where pelagic predators frequently cruise in search of prey.
Sunlit shallow swim-throughs and caves shelter dense concentrations of glassfish and cardinalfish.
Sandy alley plateau frequented by resting stingrays and cruising whitetip reef sharks.
Massive coral pinnacles covered in soft corals and surrounded by clouds of anthias.
