Dive-site story
Ras Ghazlani sits at the northern entrance to Marsa Bareika within the Ras Mohammed National Park. The profile transitions from a sheltered coral plateau covered in table corals into a stepped wall dotted with large gorgonian sea fans. Typically conducted as a drift, the dive allows for unhurried observation of sheltered overhangs where glassfish congregate away from the open sea swell.
Extensive hard and soft coral gardens along the upper plateau
Large gorgonian fan corals dotting the deeper drop-off
Sheltered overhangs and small crevices crowded with sweepers and glassfish
