Dive-site story
Located directly below the high cliff lookout at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, Shark Observatory is a sheer vertical wall dropping into the abyss. Divers drift along this precipitous cliff face, which is cut with small caves, overhangs, and gullies covered in sea fans and soft corals. Looking out into the open blue reveals cruising pelagic fish, while the wall itself supports dense reef communities.
Plunging vertical drop-off with dramatic bottomless topography
Frequent encounters with cruising jacks, barracuda, and passing reef sharks in the blue
Richly encrusted overhangs populated by soft corals and massive gorgonian sea fans
