Dive-site story
Bajo de Dentro is a submerged pinnacle within the Cabo de Palos and Islas Hormigas Marine Reserve. Known locally as the needle for its pyramidal shape, the rock rises from deep seabed plains near the surface. Open-sea currents sweep the formation, attracting schools of pelagic fish, dusky groupers, and hunting jacks, while sheer drop-offs and crevices shelter marine life along the Murcian coast.
