Dive-site story
Situated within the El Cabrón marine reserve off the eastern coast of Gran Canaria, The Table Top is formed by an expansive volcanic basalt platform surrounded by ledges and sand patches. Divers step into natural channels carved into the volcanic rock before dropping onto the flat shelf, where schools of fish gather in the gentle surge. The plateau steps down along volcanic drop-offs where morays and groupers shelter inside crevices.
