Dive-site story
Situated along the dramatic limestone cliffs of the Cabo Tiñoso area near La Azohía, this dive features a stepped rocky bottom transitioning into boulders and sand patches. Large blocks create narrow passages, overhangs, and crevices sheltered from major offshore currents. Light filters across extensive Posidonia oceanica beds where macro subjects and juvenile fish thrive, while larger predators patrol the deeper edge of the reef.
Extensive boulder mazes sheltering moray eels and large octopuses
Dense beds of Mediterranean seagrass hosting cryptic invertebrates and seahorses
Frequent flybys of schooling barracuda along the open-water edge
