Dive-site story
Set against the steep volcanic cliffs between Los Cristianos and Palm-Mar on the southern coast of Tenerife, Montaña Guaza features a rugged underwater landscape created by ancient lava flows. Large basalt blocks, overhangs, and small caves break up the descent over dark volcanic sand. Divers drifting along the cliff base regularly encounter Atlantic rays gliding over the seabed and morays settled deep inside rocky crevices.
