Dive-site story
Bajo de Piles I is a prominent rocky pinnacle within the Cabo de Palos and Islas Hormigas Marine Reserve. The formation rises steeply from a sandy seabed, attracting substantial schools of pelagic predators alongside resident Mediterranean reef fauna. Currents frequently sweep across the summit, encouraging dense aggregations of baitfish and hunting jacks.
