Dive-site story
Rising from the seabed off the coast of Llafranc, Els Ullastres is a trio of submerged granite pinnacles designated as Ullastres I, II, and III. Each formation offers distinct profiles, with steep northern faces densely blanketed by large purple and yellow gorgonian sea fans. As you descend along the rocky slopes, the substrate gives way to boulder-strewn gutters where Mediterranean groupers, moray eels, and octopus shelter in crevices.
Extensive walls of purple and yellow gorgonian seafans decorating the shaded northern drop-offs
Frequent encounters with mature dusky groupers patrolling the rocky ledges
Schools of barracuda and dentex hunting in open water off the pinnacle edges
Multi-level pinnacle profiles suited for varied certification levels

Seasonality
Warmer water temperatures, extended dive boat schedules, and reliable marine activity make late spring through early autumn the primary diving window.
