Dive-site story
Located along the eastern shore of Cap Ferret inside the Arcachon Bay, this site sits directly in front of the restaurant sharing its name. Divers descend over a stepped embankment of concrete blocks and granite riprap, placed originally to halt coastline erosion, which gives way to gentle sand slopes and patches of eelgrass. Because the bay exchanges immense volumes of water with the Atlantic Ocean, diving here requires strict alignment with the high-tide slack window.

Seasonality
Warmer water temperatures and higher marine activity occur from late spring through early autumn, though dives must always be coordinated around local tide tables.
