Dive-site story
Situated within the Lavezzi Archipelago Nature Reserve in the Strait of Bonifacio, this site centers on a distinctive granite boulder formation resembling an equine silhouette. Divers navigate around monumental submerged blocks, deep fissures, and open sand patches. The protected status of the area has allowed resident dusky groupers to grow large and curious, regularly approaching divers alongside shoals of pelagic fish patrolling the exposed channels.
