Le Rubis is a historic French Saphir-class minelaying submarine resting upright on a flat sand bottom off Cap Camarat. Scuttled as a sonar target after distinguished service during World War II, the hull remains remarkably intact, featuring its conning tower, deck gun mount, and aft torpedo tubes.
