Dive-site story
Capernwray is an inland flooded limestone quarry in Lancashire developed as an active training hub and recreational site. Divers navigate an extensive underwater trail of sunken artifacts, ranging from a passenger aircraft fuselage and small boat wrecks to statues and purpose-built training platforms. Large freshwater fish roam openly between the submerged structures.
