Dive-site story
Located along the rugged Berwickshire coastline near Eyemouth and St Abbs, Greenends Gully is a classic Scottish rocky gully dive. Steep volcanic walls flank the entrance and channel down toward an open seabed covered in kelp and boulders. The protected corridor of the gully funnels water movement, creating rich encrustations of invertebrate life along the vertical rock faces.
Sheer rock walls densely covered in dead man's fingers and plumose anemones
Frequent encounters with curious grey seals around the kelp line
Cracks and fissures harboring large edible crabs, lobsters, and butterfish
Macro photography opportunities featuring varied cold-water nudibranch species
