Dive-site story
Named after the clouds of Creole wrasse that stream across its contours, Purple Rain is an energetic reef dive situated off the southern coast of Grenada. The terrain consists of a hard coral and sponge slope anchored by massive barrel sponges and waving purple sea fans. Divers gently drift along the current while schools of reef fish feed in open water.
Vast aggregations of violet Creole wrasse cascading along the reef profile
Expansive fields of purple gorgonians and towering barrel sponges
Hawksbill turtles frequently found grazing among the coral outcrops
