Dive-site story
Running along the southern coast of Bunaken Island, the Lekuan complex consists of massive vertical coral walls dropping into abyssal depths. Huge sea fans, black coral bushes, and spongy overhangs dominate the rock face, where green sea turtles rest on ledges and schools of pelagic fish patrol the open blue.
Sheer drop-offs layered with giant gorgonians, barrel sponges, and whip corals
High concentration of resident green sea turtles resting on wall ledges
Schooling jacks, redtooth triggerfish, and pyramid butterflyfish along the reef drop-off
