Dive-site story
Sunk in 1978 after catching fire, the Kent sits upright on a flat seabed near the coast of San Vito Lo Capo. Often referred to by locals as the ship of the Korans due to its preserved cargo of holy books, the cargo vessel remains in remarkably intact condition. The ship's bridge, cargo holds, and towering masts provide a dramatic silhouette against the open blue water of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Superstructure and open holds accessible to suitably certified wreck divers
