Dive-site story
Located off the rugged coast of San Vito Lo Capo in northwestern Sicily, Punta Negra Wall offers a classic Mediterranean drop-off. The limestone precipice descends past overhangs and fissures encrusted with yellow cluster anemones and sponges before meeting a mixed boulder and sand bottom. Divers commonly encounter octopus tucked into crevices, dusky groupers shadowing the rock face, and pelagic predators passing in the open water.
