Dive-site story
Situated off the coast of Chioggia in the northern Adriatic, this site belongs to the distinctive network of biogenic rocky outcrops known locally as Tegnùe. Formed over thousands of years by calcareous algae and encrusting invertebrates over a sandy seafloor, the complex relief creates an oasis of biodiversity. Divers navigate a maze of fissures, overhangs, and natural arches often equipped with guide lines installed by local diving groups to facilitate navigation across the silty seabed.
