Dive-site story
Situated off the southernmost point of Comino, Lantern Point offers an intricate underwater topography defined by a steep vertical chimney and extensive boulder fields. Divers enter the chimney through a fissure in the shallow reef table, descending vertically through natural skylights before emerging at the base of the wall. Outside the chimney, the seabed slopes downward through massive tumbled limestone blocks into deeper sand flats, harboring typical Mediterranean predatory fish and crevices full of nocturnal critters.
Vertical chimney swim-through dropping directly through the reef plateau
Expansive boulder slopes sheltering large groupers and morays
Frequent encounters with hunting pelagics in the blue water along the wall
