Dive-site story
HMS Stubborn is a British S-class submarine sunk deliberately in 1946 for use as an ASDIC sonar target. Resting upright on a flat sandy seabed off the northeastern coast of Malta, this intact wreck retains its distinct naval profile. The submarine's periscope tower, open conning hatch, external hydroplanes, and torpedo tube doors remain recognizable, drawing trimix and technical decompression divers.
