Dive-site story
Situated along the western coastline of Pulau Gaya within Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Bulijong Reef features a gradual coral slope dropping to sandy channels. Hard coral formations and scattered bommies shelter various invertebrates and juvenile fish. Because conditions remain sheltered on most days, it serves as a reliable training and photography site just a short boat ride from Kota Kinabalu.
Gradual reef slope suited for unhurried navigation and macro photography
Frequent sightings of cuttlefish and blue-spotted stingrays along the sand edge
Protected waters with minimal swell throughout most of the dry season
