Dive-site story
Located off the southern tip of Pulau Sulug in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, South Sulug Reef features a gently sloping coral garden that gradually gives way to sandy patches and scattered coral bommies. Because Sulug is the least developed island in the park, boat traffic tends to be lighter here than around Sapi or Manukan. Divers explore extensive staghorn and table coral formations interspersed with barrel sponges and anemones.
Less crowded reef scape compared to northern TARP islands
Healthy scatterings of hard coral formations harboring diverse macro critters
Frequent resting green turtles and hunting blue-spotted rays along the sandline
