Dive-site story
Located off the coast of Panglao Island, Arco Point is recognized among divers for its natural vertical funnel, widely known as the Hole in the Wall. Divers enter through a cavern opening on the shallow reef crest, drifting down a dark chimney before emerging onto a steep wall. Beyond the exit, the drop-off features soft coral gardens, gorgonians, and sandy ledges where macro critters shelter in crevices.
Natural vertical chimney swim-through connecting the reef flat to the drop-off
Frequent encounters with banded sea kraits probing the wall crevices
Diverse macro photography subjects including nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, and cryptic frogfish
