Dive-site story
Situated off the coast of Aguadilla along Puerto Rico's northwest shore, El Natural features extensive spur-and-groove coral formations separated by wide sand channels. Coral heads rise sharply from the seafloor, covered in sea fans, large barrel sponges, and brain corals. Because the site sits exposed to North Atlantic winter swells, diving conditions shift dramatically between summer calm and winter surf.
Extensive spur-and-groove reef architecture with cavernous overhangs and swim-through channels
Frequent encounters with foraging sea turtles and resting nurse sharks beneath coral ledges
Expansive sea fan fields populated by schooling reef fish and passing pelagics

Seasonality
Summer brings flat sea conditions and optimal visibility, while winter brings massive ocean swells that can make diving impossible.
