Dive-site story
Located directly along the San Juan coastline, this protected marine park offers sheltered shore diving accessible straight from the sandy beach. The site features a mix of seagrass flats, rocky outcrops, natural coral patches, and submerged artificial structures including classical-style columns and concrete reef domes. Because a natural coral barrier buffers the cove from heavy Atlantic swell, the calm waters serve as the primary training hub on Puerto Rico's north coast.

Submerged artificial reef structures including faux Roman columns and reef balls
Protected cove conditions allowing easy sandy-beach entries and navigation practice
