Dive-site story
Situated along the remote eastern coast of Koh Tao, Laem Thien is famous for its labyrinthine topography. Towering granite boulders plunge down to a sandy seabed, forming deep chasms, swim-through arches, and caverns to explore. While the bay area presents gentle sloping hard coral gardens, the outer point challenges divers with overhead swim-throughs and occasional currents.
Extensive network of granite boulder swim-throughs and overhead caverns
Frequent encounters with resident green sea turtles around the reef shallows
Cruising pelagics along the deeper sandy edges away from the rocky point
