Dive-site story
Located in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Phang Nga province, this archipelago features two distinctly different underwater landscapes depending on the side of the islands you explore. The eastern slopes host extensive hard coral gardens and gentle sand flats, whereas the exposed western and northern sites showcase colossal granite boulders stacked into dramatic swim-throughs, arches, and deep canyons swept by ocean currents. The national park operates under seasonal closures to protect the marine ecosystem, opening only during the calm northeast monsoon.
Massive submerged granite boulders forming complex swim-throughs and overhead canyons on the western ridges
Expansive shallow coral gardens dominated by staghorn and pore corals along the sheltered eastern bays
Frequent seasonal pelagic encounters including oceanic manta rays and whale sharks drifting past offshore pinnacles
