Dive-site story
Situated within the protected waters of Chole Bay off Mafia Island, Milimani South is named after the Swahili word for mountains. Massive Porites coral bommies rise dramatically from the white sand bottom like submerged hills, creating an intricate landscape of ravines and overhangs. Protected from heavy oceanic swell, the site provides a sheltered environment where diverse reef fish congregate around pristine hard coral architecture.
