Dive-site story
Located inside Ocala National Forest, Alexander Springs is a broad, shallow freshwater spring basin centered around a limestone boil. Divers enter from a gently sloping sandy beach into open water framed by dense beds of native eelgrass. The sandy bottom gradually drops toward the cavern vent where clear spring water surges outward from fractures in the limestone rock floor.
