Dive-site story
Located southeast of Denver, the designated Scuba Beach at Aurora Reservoir serves as the primary freshwater training grounds for Colorado divers. The shoreline gives way to a sloping sand and silt bottom outfitted with an underwater navigation trail connecting submerged platforms, a small airplane fuselage, and several sunken watercraft. Divers must account for high-elevation dive table adjustments and distinct thermoclines that persist through the summer.
