Dive-site story
Located along the West Seattle shoreline in Elliott Bay, this sheltered site is the primary hub for diving in the Puget Sound area. Divers follow navigation guide ropes leading from the shallow sandy slope out toward several artificial reefs, wooden boat wrecks, and tire clusters that provide structure on an otherwise silty incline. The backdrop offers views of the downtown Seattle skyline, while the substrate beneath hosts classic Pacific Northwest marine life.
Extensive underwater trail lines linking artificial reefs, wire cages, and small boat wrecks
Frequent encounters with Giant Pacific octopuses inhabiting artificial reef structures and tire piles
Night diving opportunities featuring spotted ratfish, stubby squid, and hunting lingcod
