Dive-site story
Located offshore from Jupiter, Tunnels is defined by an extensive limestone ledge riddled with deep undercut caverns, arches, and interconnected swim-throughs. Strong Gulf Stream currents sweep over the top of the reef, making this site a quintessential Florida drift dive. Divers drop into open water and coast along the ledge, peering into recesses where large marine species take shelter from the moving water.
Series of natural limestone arches and cavernous swim-throughs along the main ledge
Regular aggregations of massive Goliath groupers tucked inside the relief structures
Frequent encounters with loggerhead turtles and pelagic sharks cruising past the outer drop-off
