Dive-site story
Sunk as an artificial reef off the south shore of Oahu, this former Navy yard oiler rests upright on a flat sandy bottom. Cutouts throughout the superstructure allow daylight into interior spaces, where schooling fish gather out of prevailing currents. Because Atlantis Submarines operates tourist runs past the hull, divers regularly share the wreck with the passing passenger submersible.

Seasonality
South shore sea conditions tend to be warmest during summer, though trade winds and occasional southerly swells can pick up surface chop.
