Dive-site story
Submerged off the coast of Great Dog Island, Sharkplaneo consists of three decommissioned commercial aircraft modified with metal sculptures to resemble marine predators before being scuttled as artificial reefs. Divers can swim through open fuselage sections and inspect coral colonies establishing themselves across the wings and tail fins. The sandy seabed surrounding the installations provides habitat for resting rays, while schools of reef fish shelter under the plane hulls.
Three custom-sculpted airplane fuselages styled after apex ocean predators
Spacious swim-through opportunities inside the stripped cockpits and cabins
Juvenile reef fish and invertebrate life colonizing the artificial structures
