Dive-site story
Located within Salt River Canyon off the north shore of St. Croix, Inner East Wall is part of a submerged river valley that cuts into the seafloor. The top of the wall features a hard coral crest that transitions rapidly into a dramatic vertical drop plunge toward deep ocean trenches. Divers follow the contour of the face where deep-water sea fans, tube sponges, and wire corals project out into the blue. The site benefits from calm canyon geography on normal days, making the sheer vertical drop accessible while offering steady pelagic activity out in the open water.
