Dive-site story
Situated along the dramatic cliffs of the eastern False Bay coastline, this site takes its name from historical truck wreckage that plunged down from the coastal pass above. Divers explore a rugged underwater landscape dominated by large granite boulders, gullies, and thick stands of sea bamboo kelp. The twisted metal chassis and engine components have become heavily encrusted with invertebrates, providing shelter for small reef fish and benthic catsharks.
