Delete your account in the app

If you can sign in to DIVEROUT, follow these steps:

1. Open DIVEROUT and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings, then Account Security.
3. Select Delete Account, read the confirmation, and confirm deletion.

If you cannot sign in or deletion does not complete, use the email option below.

What is deleted and what is retained

Deleting your account does not mean every record is immediately erased. These categories explain the scope of deletion and the retention exceptions.

Account information and dive data

Deletion covers your account profile, sign-in records, dive logs, and associated account content. Data subject to the exceptions below is retained separately.

Conversations with stores and support

Account deletion removes account links and replaces your displayed identity in retained conversations. Message content and attachments are subject to a three-year retention policy: store conversations are measured from the later of the last message or the latest related booking completion, cancellation, or trip end; official support conversations are measured from the last message. Active legal holds can extend this period. This is a retention policy, not a promise that account deletion immediately removes every message or attachment.

Booking, transaction, and compliance records

Some booking, payment, accounting, dispute, and audit records remain after account deletion for transaction handling, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. There is no single fixed retention period for these records; the applicable obligation or dispute determines how long they are needed. Contact support for details about your records.

Fraud and welcome-credit abuse prevention

We retain a protected hash of eligible sign-in email addresses to prevent repeated welcome-credit claims after account recreation. This record does not contain your original email address and currently has no fixed expiry date.

Before you delete your account

• Uninstalling DIVEROUT does not delete your account or submit a deletion request.
• Manage or cancel paid subscriptions through the platform where you purchased them, such as Google Play or the App Store. Do not assume that account deletion cancels a subscription.
• If you have an upcoming booking, pending refund, or unresolved issue, contact support for help handling it alongside your deletion request.
