Dive-site story
Rising out of the coastal shallows off Al Aqah, this iconic rocky outcrop earned its name from a silhouette mirroring the cartoon beagle resting on his doghouse. The site features a gradual boulder base wrapped in stony corals, sea anemones, and scattered sandy patches. It acts as an active nursery habitat in the Gulf of Oman, drawing cruising reef sharks and foraging sea turtles directly into the sunlit shallows.
