Dive-site story
Located along the coast of Golfo Nuevo south of Puerto Madryn, this protected reserve hosts a permanent colony of South American sea lions. The dive takes place along shallow rocky reefs where curious juveniles and females freely approach divers, twisting through the water and investigating dive gear. The substrate consists of low-profile sedimentary stone terraces covered in turf algae, colonial anemones, and scattered kelp beds.
