Dive-site story
Extending into the sheltered waters of Port Phillip Bay on the Mornington Peninsula, Blairgowrie Pier is one of Victoria's premier temperate macro diving locations. Divers navigate along the underside of the pier and marina wave screen, where wooden and concrete pylons are encrusted with dense carpets of ascidians, colorful sponges, and kelp. The shallow, sandy seafloor beneath the structure harbors diverse bottom-dwellers, cephalopods, and cryptic critters, making it an exceptional site for slow, observant exploring and night diving.
