Dive-site story
Formed within an extinct volcanic crater outside Camperdown, Lake Bullen Merri is one of Victoria's primary inland deep-water diving destinations. The lake is brackish with steep shelving banks that drop off into darkness over silt, weed beds, and submerged timber. Divers frequently use the southern and western boat ramp areas for deep-water skill development, navigation practice, and cold-water training.
