Dive-site story
Situated on the sheltered leeward side of Milln Reef on the Outer Great Barrier Reef, Pools features scattered hard coral bommies rising from bright sandy channels. Divers frequently encounter resting whitetip reef sharks tucked beneath acropora table formations and overhangs. The reef flats and bommy walls showcase large giant clams displaying iridescent mantles, alongside schooling anthias and feeding sea turtles.
