Dive-site story
Located at the northern tip of Ribbon Reef Number Ten on the Great Barrier Reef, this world-renowned site centers around a sandy amphitheater surrounded by coral ridges and isolated bommies. Divers encounter habituated potato groupers that readily approach visitors, often resting alongside divers on the seabed. Aside from the massive groupers, the surrounding coral structures feature dense hard coral formations, overhangs, and swim-throughs where schooling pelagics and reef fish gather.
