Dive-site story
Hole in the Wall sits along the southern coastline near Pos Chiquito, named after the narrow gap in the mangrove fringe and limestone ironshore used for water entry. Divers drop onto a gently sloping reef system dominated by sheet corals, large sea fans, and deep-water gorgonians. The site frequently serves as the starting point for a south-to-north drift dive toward Mangel Halto, carrying divers along coral spurs and sand channels.
Scenic drift along sloping reef ridges covered in large seafans and barrel sponges
Frequent encounters with green moray eels hiding within coral undercuts
Occasional eagle rays gliding along the outer drop-off
