Dive-site story
Carrière de La Gombe is a flooded sandstone quarry located in the Ourthe valley near Esneux. Managed as a dedicated diving center, the basin features steep rocky cliffs that drop into deep water alongside a collection of submerged objects, including a fighter jet fuselage, an amphibious tank, and various training platforms. Dense vegetation lines the shallow banks, while deep layers remain cold and dark year-round.
