The site begins over a shallow sandy flat littered with rubble and small coral heads before easing into a gently sloping reef. Its sheltered position in the leeward bay means calm conditions prevail year-round, making it a reliable training spot and a tranquil dusk or night dive location where nocturnal cephalopods hunt across the shallows.
